And Finally, New York City
"New York is always a good idea"
I finally got the chance to come back to New York! The last time I was in New York was probably around 7 years ago already, so I was very looking forward to visiting this place again. This time I was accompanied by my friend, Toddy. We spent 7 days wandering around this amazing city and catching up with each other because we hadn't seen each other in a while. This trip was quite a special one for me because it is the first big trip that I used my own money on everything so it was like an accomplishment in a way (even though it left me with a nearly empty bank account, I'm still very proud! haha). One step further into adulthood!
We stayed in a place we booked through Airbnb in Lower East side. The place was very cozy and nicely decorated. It's about 6-8 minutes walk to the subway, which is not too bad if you ask me. The apartment has 2 other rooms and they were never empty for our entire stay but the guests just kept to themselves and we never had an issue with the bathroom or anything either. Overall, a really nice place to stay for a New York trip!
I didn't really have a plan on what I wanted to do (but when do I ever?). But Toddy, on the other hand, was full of it. So I just followed him along and let him do all the navigating haha. Because we stayed there for a week, we bought the 1 week subway ticket which gives you unlimited access to the subway for the entire week. It was so so convenient and I highly recommend it.
Ok enough with the information people don't care about. Now onto some pictures me and Toddy took during our trip. Hope you enjoy!

By far my most favourite place!
Aaaand that's it for my New York City journey. Before joining Emirates my plan was to try to live here for a couple of years just to see how it is but now I'm not so sure anymore lol. It is such a crazy city! And probably way too crazy for me. But who knows, my love for this city might grow since I'm sure I'll be coming back many more times. Until next time! xx
